Does anyone have the Easton EC70 Carbon Fiber fork? Performance and Nashbar are selling them at $149. This sounds like a great deal. Also, Nashbar has a Look LDS Pro3 Carbon fork for $129. This is the exact same fork that came standard issue on $3,000+ Litespeed's a year ago. Both these forks look like great deals, any thoughts on either the Easton or the Look? Thanks for the input..........

I could only suggest looking at the reviews on this site, I didn't check but would think there would be some. I never rode either. I have a Reynolds Ouza Pro on my Litespeed. I do know that the Easton has an aluminium crown, so it is not a pure carbon fiber fork. LoL

Apparently, Easton has discontinued its current line of forks and is working on new ones. That may be why the EC70 and other existing Easton forks are going cheap now.

I have one (came with frame). It is stiff and stable at speeds 40-50mph, unfortunately it transmits too much road hiss on coarse pavement, resonates at some frequencies. Not really a problem on 50-100mi rides, would not recommend it for 150mi+ rides. Have not ridden EC70 can't comment.
