|Anybody using these? Are the cages rattle free?
I'm using Elite Patao cages and they are dead silent and hold bottles very securely. The only downside is the bottles are alot smaller than standard bottles. I'd like to have the security of the Patao with normal sized bottles.

|can be bent slightly to be tighter. I did that once accidentally and the bottles now are super secure. Takes some force to pull out.|

|That why I switched out my Ciussi cages. They get stretched out over time and you have to bend them back. The downside is the bottles are to hard to get out in a hurry.
The Patao's hold them tight and still allow for quick and easy removal and replacement. Just trying to have my cake and eat it too.

|Rattle free. I got mine back in April and haven't had a problem yet. Nice, light and no issues for me. I have them on 2 bikes, a standard and a compact. Didn't have to use the spacers on the compact frame.|

|I have been using them for a couple of weeks and they work well with a wider bottle, like the taxc bottles. Some of my bottles were way too loose to work though and there isn't a way to tighten the cages to make them hold more securely. They do look very nice though.|

|What about the Specialized cages(Rib Cage Pro). They are light plastic(Delrin, Nylon), and do not loose their grip due to the elastic "Thingy"(replaceable). |
The cage can be beat on and doesn't bend out of shape. Delrin is very tough so a beating won't break it, probably more so than any Aluminmum or other metal cage.
I know that plastic may not look/be cool enough for some but if weight, function and durability are what you are after...
