|i have a pair of "Blackburn track stand"home trainers
whats the guide for setting the pressure on the tyre,how do you set this up,should it just make contact,and i worry about how tight you fasten the knob that holds the back wheel.
also how long would you say you have to ride to get any benefit

As for the benefit - that depends on what you want to do. Do you want power, strength, or what? During the winter I do a lot of mtb riding and trainer workouts. While on the trainer I prefer to do a lot of spinning and lung work. You lose your lungs faster than you do muscle. Thus I will spin for 45 minutes to an hour. Cadence between 90 and 110. Average probably about 105.
