|How did I do? Newbie Question...||wb|

After lurking around here for a little while. I finally broke down and bought a road bike. After originally planning on a Cannondale R400 or R500, tonight I came home with a brand new Trek 2200 and could'nt be happier. I figured for $1300 I was getting a lot more bike for the money. Sorry for the lack of interesting content, just needed to vent a little. Thanks.

|Thanks for the replies. As for weight, I don't know, since the area where the scale was set up in the bike shop was being painted, all I know is coming from a reasonably light 24lb mtb, this thing feels like nothing... I haven't had the chance to take it out for a real ride only a couple of miles or so and I've got to say I'm really starting to understand the allure of a road bike. The speed and sensation of being on a precision instrument, carving through the turns, is very addictive. Can't wait to take her out and see what she can do tomorrow...
