My thought on this one is if you're toolin' around, or even trainin' hard with that thing on, I'd be really embarrassed for you. Outside of a state championship TT or something, that thing is fully unnecessary and totally ridiculous in my opinion. Heck, maybe even then.

I recall many TTs, along with the most recent Giros last TT that's been won sans helmet completely. At least in my area, you'll find the vast majority of racers in the all the catagories goin' after TT stages in the road races with their regular setup and once in a blue moon a pair of clip ons. The extra second that thing might get you is really insignificant in the long run of a stage race.

Hi,

I'm not interested in getting one for myself, i work in a bike shop and i'm wondering if i should stock any. We also do business online, which is why i'm asking about the general opinion on LG products.

Thanks for the replies!!!!!

I have a LG Globe helmet and in my view it is absolutely the best deal for a bike helmet out there. Only $50 full retail, often on sale for $35 at performance bike, and it has all the features of helmets costing 2-3 X more. It also was rated the #1 safest helmet in a review by Consumer Reports a couple years ago.
