That's *gonna* hurt... what an awesome picture. As an amateur photog, capturing that moment (which happens in the blink of an eye) is not easy, even with a killer camera.

And you're right on... cringe is the perfect word. :-)

...there was the US Pro race in Philly a few years back in which an Italian rider (don't recall who) sprinted to a seemingly easy victory and raised his arms in victory only to be passed by the field as they continued to ride the two additional mini-laps of the Ben Franklin Parkway before the actual finish. The poor guy was a little dejected ;)
