Jun 17, 2002 5:19 AM | | Went down in the rain- easy fall but it bent my der. hanger. The bike is an older aluminum- '97, can this be bent back without breaking? If it breaks- can it be repaired or is it time for a new frame?

I crashed a 7000 series al frame and bent the hell out of the derailleur hanger. Bent that sucker back and rode it like that for a couple of years with no problems. Not a repair that I would guarantee, but hey, it worked for me. |
