|If you live in or around Warren County in New Jersey, please reply. I am new to the area and looking for folks to ride with. More social than a hammerfest for now since I probably won't do much more racing until next year. Thanx

|There should be lot's of places to ride and groups to hook up with. Check out North Jersey Bicycle Touring Club (or something like that).
A few rides I enjoy:
1) Skyline drive.
2) George Washington Bridge - Nyack
3) Bear Mountain via Seven Lakes Drive
How far are you from Ft. Lee? The ride to Nyack on Saturday or Sunday literally has hundreds of riders.
You cannot be too far away from Bear Mountain - correct? Take Rt17 North to the Thru-way and head towards Suffern (I think). The Seven Lakes drive loop around Bear Mountain is a nice 40 something mile ride with a few miles just on the hill climb.
When do you ride? Myself and a group ride all of the time - weekends and days. Let me know if you are interested. Sometimes it's hammerfest but other times it's just to get out.
Hope you have a mountain bike - great places to ride out there!

|There's a lot of great riding out your way here's a few links to websites with info:
Western Jersey Wheelmen - http://www.wjw.org
Morris Area Freewheelers - http://www.mafw.org ($18 a year/600 very cool members)
You've also got a pretty hardcore event out your way called "Hillier than Thou" (For all you Rocky dwellers who are laughing right now, our hills are as tall as yours but they can be steep and frequent).
Also a challenging ride is the "Longest Day" which is from High Point State Park in Sussex to Cape May Lighthouse in Cape May all together I thinks it's 220+/- miles.
