I will be in NY state this weekend camping at Kittatinny along the Delaware. It is just north of Port Jarvis. I was wonder if anyone could recommend some places to ride? I'd prefer road, but open to bringing the MTB with me. I remember RT 97 looked nice, but a little tight and heavily traveled.

Thanks in advance,
Moots

Port Jerveis has some good road riding to the South. I haven't riden anything North of town.

I would recommend using Rt. 23 South to CR. 519 South. Then using Rt. 206 North to link up to CR. 653 North which takes you back to Port Jervis. It would be a 40 mile loop which would include the climb up towards High Point. The rest would have some noticeable rollers. Pavement is good. Traffic will be low except on Rt 206. That road does have a wide shoulder though. You'll be in or near High Point SP and Stokes State Forest for much of the ride.

Good luck
