Does anyone have any suggestions for ride routes in Rehoboth Beach? I am going to be there on vacation this weekend and would like to get a couple of 30-40 mile rides in.

Thanks

The popular one seems to be to just go south on route 1 turn around and come back, you can almost bet on a good tailwind/headwind. Get a map, go west there are endless back roads with very little traffic. You really can't get lost all you need to do is go east and you will eventually end up back at the highway. It will be alot more scenic, lot less traffic, and some variety of roads (well other than them all being pretty much pancake flat!) and wind.

Check out the "Rides and Clubs" board...I posted a response about riding in Lewes, DE that would certainly hold true for Rehoboth Beach as well. Happy riding and stay safe- the warm weather brings out all types down there!

Another good source of inforamtion and routes is the series of maps made by the DE Dept. of Transportation.
Here is a link to the page that has the maps in a PDF format.

Enjoy the area! Once you get west of Route 1 there are some well maintained, moderately busy roads with adequate shoulders.
