Well, it's not as retro as it was, and is actually heavier. I switched out the old 105 7sp for a set of 600 8sp STI and the old Arraya rims on 105 hubs are gone in favor of Mavic Open 4CDs on 600 hubs. Switched out the rear derailleur too of course (600). At least the "upgrade" wasn't to modern versions of 8sp STI!

Man, those Mavic wheels are heavy! Didn't expect them to weigh THAT much more than the old Arrayas!

Love it! And it looks IDENTICAL to mine ('cept those STI shifters, etc.). Probably even close to the same size.

It is definitely a boat anchor, but very fun to ride.

...on a short recovery ride. Rolled 1200miles for the year on this particular bike. After having not been on this bike for a few weeks it was a real eye-opener being back on it. Lets just say the acceleration as compared to my other bike is not quite as sprite!
