|Just started getting into roadbiking and am wondering what qualifies as a "hill repeat", as I've seen it mentioned here as a training technique? I'm currently riding alone, so it's kind of like learning in a vacuum, except for all the useful stuff I read on this board. How does one incorporate this into a training regimen? Thanks, Paul|

|think of it as interval training... but on a hill..
max effort to the top.. recover on the way back down.. repeat...
this is not something you do in your training until you already have done your base miles for the year...
there are plenty of great resources for learning about this stuff at the book store or in cycle magazines...(or better yet, join a local club if you can)..
if you are new to cycling the thing to focus on is pedaling in circles.. this is the basis of going fast...
