sometimes a click in bottom of right pedal strokeishmael

Ive tightened the pedals and cranks and all the screws in shoe cleats could it be the bb. I wouldve thought that was more of a creak that would resonate throught the frame than a quiet tick. It comes and goes, will it damage something if I dont fix it.

what kind of pedals? are your cleats worn? worn front cleats on time pedals can make a clicking sound. how regular is the click? is it on EVERY pedal stroke or just every 3rd or 4th? might be a bad link in your chain.

its every stroke, but only sometimes (if that makes sense). Its not the chain. speedplay cleats.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a fitting in my shoe, underneith where the cleat is secured - two little sliding parts, for gosh sakes! Noises like that are a whip to chase down. It just damaged my psyche, hope your click is not dangerous.

I thought the same thing about the BB but then looked over my chain and a link separated on one side. Lucky for me that it did not go while riding. As the chain was going through the derailer it made a click and pulled a bit. Check it out and good luck

...turned out to be my front mech cable sticking out and hitting the crank occasionally. That one wasn't too hard to fix.

I had a similar experience clicking at bottom on right every revolution of the pedals - it's most likely your bottom bracket - it either needs to be lubed or replaced - had mine lubed and the clicking went away - now I can feel the BB grinding

you can tell if it's the cleat if you ride without cycle shoes and hear the same click at the same time every stroke
BB - lube, replace, or maybe just tighten to spec (nm)Kerry
