|During transportation, my TCR-frame was poorly handled by train personnel, resulting in my frame being repeatedly dunked against something hard on the train. When I looked at the frame I noticed that the color has been scraped off. I'm afraid thatmaybe some aluminium has been scraped of too, but I'm not sure. The damaged area is about 1,5 centimeter wide on the left seat stay. There are no dents in the tube. Should I be more worried than I am right now? Will the frame hold in the future? |
(I apologize for my poor English. Its not my native language)

|Personal opinion: if it's just some scrapes it shouldn't affect the frame's performance or safety. I have dings on my bikes that don't affect anything other than my pride-of-ownership.
You said there are no dents in the tubes, I'm assuming you mean the seat stays as well. If you're near a bike shop, it can't hurt to get a professional opinion.

|You think some aluminum might have been scraped off? Well, if you aren't sure, I guess it wouldn't be much even if some has indeed been scraped off. Keep riding.
By the way, many people whose native language is English have done a lot worse than you. So no worries on the language front.
