This paint scheme has been available for a while with Trek's custom program. They must have decided (rightly so) that jazzing up Lance's bike with the new goo that they'll make some cash. (This pain version was an extra $500!!!!)

They're smart up in Waterloo, and I hate them for it.

I was looking for those a couple of weeks ago but didn't think anyone was selling them yet. Sorry about ruining your exclusivity.

all kidding aside, they are a really great bottle cage. i was using the elite bajiji/pateo (sp?) combo, and although being the most secure bottle/cage combo i have ever used, it was a little too hard to remove/replace the bottles. the taos are just as solid, and the finish is way better.
Good to hear! Thanks again! nmShad

...For doing my homework for me. A simple search turned up over a dozen Stateside catalogs listing Tao cages. Doubtless they'll be ubiquitous soon....
