|Lance's Statement||Jon Billheimer|

|He has made a clear, definitive statement regarding the French judiciary's refusal to close the file on the whole Actovegin fiasco. This thing has gotten to the point that in my opinion it hurts the credibility of the TdF organization and destroys any vestige of objectivity or fairness remaining with the French judiciary. One wonders how long these doorknobs will persist in their obtuse viciousness and venality. Although it will never happen I think it would be quite wonderful if Saeco, Mapei et al along with Lance would simply boycott the TdF in order to send a clear message to the French people and the Tour organization itself as to what a chauvinistic debacle this whole event has become. Sorry...my rant for today!!|

|So, I just want to make sure I understand you, you think the TdF organization is involved with the investigation?

|No, I don't. I think French society and French culture supports such institutions as the judiciary, the press, and organizations such as the TdF. The net effect is the various manifestations of what I regard as provincial, chauvinistic attitudes by these French institutions. In the case of the judiciary it's mean vindictiveness. In the case of the TdF it's blatant favouritism toward French teams and the exclusion of other teams who are more competitive.|

|It'll start in Quebec and go all the way across Canada. And since we start in Quebec we can use the "de"!
My stupid comment for the day,
