Do you keep some stuff at work in case you forget to pack something? Wearing riding shorts as underwear this morning cuz i forgot to pack underwear. OUCH.

I always have a spare set of clothes in my desk. Also, get a package of baby wipes. They work great for cleaning up after a ride.

I do the same... I have all my clothes at work and don't ride in with anything but my riding clothes. I ride 3 days a week, so I replenish my stash and pickup the dirty stuff on the days I drive in.

Doing it that way has been great for me... no more messanger bag to carry my clothes in with, and consequently, nothing to get my back nice and hot.

Now, if you bike in all five days, then lining up the clothes for the whole week might be a hassle. But for the 3-day stuff, it works great for me.

Also, the baby wipes are a great tip too... helps you clean up and keeps your co-workers' noses happy. :-) Having some pit stick on hand should go without saying too.

I keep extra underwear. I have gone without, but wool slacks and the inevitable danger from a metal zipper make a spare pair worth it!

I ride in 5-days a week so I will forget occasionally. One way to avoid this is to lay out your clothes the night before. It saves time in the morining, too.

Be careful out there!

I have 5 days of clothes at work (I skip the underwear, no offense, I just like a little breathing room after being on the saddle). Then on Friday before I ride home I change up and drop all my stuff at the cleaners, they have it ready for me to pick up first thing Monday morning. Works like a charm, and not terribly expensive all things considered.
My boss put in a shower and lockers...Silverback

Three or four of us (out of ~300 employees) who ride asked if we could have a secure locking area, or at least an indoor bike rack. They not only did that, they added a shower to an upstairs restroom that didn't get used much, and put in a dozen lockers. I was shocked--this is, um, out of character for the company. I think they got a small break on health insurance for sponsoring some wellness programs and providing "fitness facilities." Worth asking about....

We have a shower at work, much to the delight of my co-workers! I haven't had to go "bongo", but I have worn my riding socks and gone belt-less.

I actually prefer wearing riding socks and the looks you get when someone sees the bright orange socks with some wacky logo on them are priceless.

I forgot my shoes once (before I kept a pair at work). Yellow, red, and blue mtb shoes with yellow soles and a nice green pair of pants and a striped shirt. Tres cool!

Dress shirts in the office, slacks and shoes in my locker (at the gym across the street, where I shower and shave before work).

Underwear I typically bring each day, but I've forgotten myself (twice this year that I recall). Last week I ended up going to the Filene's Basement in the next block to by a pair of shorts--I'm not wearing bike shorts all day under my slacks at work. I'd rather drop a few bucks (after all, I'm not spending 15 on parking) and expand the wardrobe. And if folks can forgive me for waxing philosophical on the board: you can never have too many pairs of underwear.

I'm riding to work often now. I keep everything at the office. I drive in at least every Wed. because I do a trining race in the evening. On the days I drive in, I swap dirty clothes for clean ones.

I'd go commando. Just watch the peeper while zipping up.
