|Just as most people upgrade their OS when they buy a new PC, I upgrade wheels when I buy a new bike.
As I'm more serious about riding (as well as in a financial position to make an upgrade) my question is this: is it worth my while to upgrade my Rolf Vectors to a better set?
To my knowledge, it is not like I can "test ride" new wheels, and riding a different bike with different wheels poses too many variables for an objective comparison.
I am otherwise happy with the frame and components, and had a great deal at my LBS. The wheelset was arguably the biggest comprimise I made.

|From what I've heard Rolf Vectors can be not very laterally stiff. So if you do a criteriums or a lot of fast descents this can be a hinderance to you. So from my very positive experience with Mavic Ksyriums I'd recommend those. And with either set you'll have equally as hard a time replacing the spoke but with the Ksyriums I have hammered pot holes and they are still true and running silky smooth.
