I just received my 10 hr. Tour de France 2001 DVD, overnighted by World Cycling Productions. So far the stages have summaries (0nly on the first disc of 5) and interviews, but they also had a segment on Lance's cancer and showed his winning sprint of his first TdF stage win. Of course it's full of Liggetisms and Sherwinisms. I'm just stoked about the idea of being able to watch this anywhere on my laptop. I know that this year's TdF will be different without Ullrich, but I'm sure new challengers will emerge — especially if Sevilla dons the pink and black. We'll get to see Beloki and Kirsipuu and Ja-Ja, O'Grady, Rodriguez, Axel and the Euskatel team. And don't forget about Tyler, now with a grand tour podium and there's Leipheimer with Rabbobank with something to prove. Will Heras ride for Lance, or save something for the Vuelta? Did anyone see Leipheimer's comments about Heras in last month's Cycle Sport? Will these two be fighting it out in the mountains? Who will save Lance's bacon in the mountains? Will it be Chechu, or will it be one of the new American teammates? Will George be in the tour wearing the stars and stripes this year or will Domo's Rodriguez retain it? Bring on the Tour de France!
And I just signed up for digital cable, mwood

with OLN! Bring it on, baby!
Actually, this will be the first year I've watched the TDF and I don't really know how cool it is...
