|Today, the first day of my two week vacation, I decided to go for about a 40 mile ride from home to the Valley Forge towpath (bike path) and back by way of Conshohocken. All is going well, I get to Valley Forge, turn around, and am heading back. About 2 miles later I see a group of maybe 10 or 12 Saturn jerseys coming at me fast, get a nice wave from the point as they fly past me...well that was a nice little experience I think as I smile to myself and up my tempo a notch. Five minutes later same plot, only instead there are about 6 or 7 Domo jerseys, 2 minutes later a pack of probably 15 riders wearing US Postal, Domo, and Mercury jerseys. A few more minutes/miles pass and a trio of Mroz jerseys, and then a group of Saeco jerseys. By this point I've puled all reasonable thoughts from my mind and end up making a 40 mile jaunt into a 70 mile trek, hoping that I won't be overrun by all of those racers on their way back the other way. Seems most of the teams that will be in Sunday's USPRO race were putting a few miles in their legs along one of my favorite stretches. Gotta be one of the high points of my cycling experience...what a beginning to my vacation =)|

|Does anyone know if this is going to be broadcast live on a local TV or radio station that I may be able to find streamed on the net? It would sure be cool to listen to it live.|

|Locally the whole race (as well as the concurrent Liberty Classic) are broadcast live by WPVI channel 6 from Philly. I won't be watching it on tv though...I'll probally either be on Lemon Hill, the Manayunk wall, Main St. or some other point along the race route at any given time =)|

|I used to live in chester springs (near phoenixville on rt. 113) and rode through VF everyday. god i miss those roads!
I hear that greed is overwhelming the countryside now though! my mother, bless her poor driving soul, almost killed the entire Crest team one year. they were riding down our road and dear old mum didn't look when she pulled out. nobody went down, but i felt like shit and apologized profusely to them. they invited me to ride the next day and i showed 'em my double secret loop. to this day, my friends that still live there see pros riding that loop!

|Delaware County...the towpath is the best for a nice long stretch of FLATNESS...Villanova, Gladwynne, and the surrounding areas have some wonderful, well paved roads without traffic, broken glass, rednecks, etc as well as alot of hills. I was disappointed not to see Mari Holden and her girls, I did get some real funny looks from a couple of riders I saw eating in Manayunk...can't imagine why though... http://gallery.consumerreview.com/roadbike/gallery/files/NEWBIKE.asp
hee hee...I love my bike =)

|What time of day were they there? They must have been really flying cause that is as flat a path as you can find anywhere. I love the Saturn colors on those Ti Lemond bikes!!!!|

|as part of a 65 mile ride (I'm in Malvern) trying to see some "early" teams. Last year I saw the CSC-Tiscali, the Saturn Team and some Domo guys. I'm sure most weren't around on Saturday when I did it and riding in Washington, DC. I did see the Amoroso team though.
Did anyone see the ride with the Prime Alliance team this Saturday? 25 miles from the King of Prussia Mall behind the JC Penney's at the First Union bank. I think it's an 8:30 start for $10.
