Can someone who has attended this event give me the scoop on it? I'd really like to watch but I don't know much about the race other than what I've read on the net. Is there a better time to get there? Better place to watch? How long is the pro race? I just live 10 minutes walk from there but never been before. I'm looking forward to it.

It's a good event. When you arrive depends on what you want to see. Arlington Sports has a web page on which you can check out the schedule. I don't have it in front of me but I think I recall a noon start time for the men's pro race, which is 100k and the last race of the day. It's a relatively short lap, even for a crit, so it's pretty easy to check out different corners as the race progresses. My daughter's favorite vantage is from the bench in front of Lazy Sundae.
