|Thanks to all who commented on the "custom airbrushing on roadbike" topic. I was wondering what are your thots on this work? It is a mountain bike pic but fundamental still applies here. Too bright, colourful, not enuf details, would u feel like a clown riding on this bike? etc etc.... Both positive and negative feedbacks are welcome.|

|Nice work overall, but it looks a little like something that would be seen at a K-mart (no offense).

|I mean, as roadies, we already wear bright colors. I don't own a mountain bike (yet), but I wouldn't feel totally foolish riding a road bike painted like that - I'd just have to go faster, wouldn't I?
how much did that cost, or do I want to know?

|That particular style reminds me of guys in Chevy Camaros and mullet haircuts. Blecch! Sorry, personal hang-up from an unhappy childhood in the burbs.
Hoas about painting amiable woodland creatures on the side? : ) Personally, I'd go for strange cryptic symbols or Mr. Natural with a maniacal expression on his face. A growling frog w/ teeth? Just some helpful thoughts.
Actually, I don't know what I'd prefer.

|it's a chicks bike...but anyway...
i personally thought the paint job was sweet. i'm more of a matte black stealthy kind of guy, though. but still, it's a nice job and i'd probably ride it. if it wasn't so small...

|First question, is that a custom paint job by Klein? If not who did it?
I'd say, what ever floats your boat, ride it. A little too garish for my taste, coming from a guy who rides a Colnago and a Klein. But if you like it, don't worry about what others think. One thing that would concern me would be touch up paint. If you ride on the roads there is no way you can avoid chipping the paint sooner or later..
