anyone dealt with Tim at Branford Bike?namir in SoCal

I'm having a serious problem with Tim at Branford Bike, and I'm curious if anyone else has had experience with him. I ordered a cassette to go with a component group I was selling, and it simply never arrived. Every time I ask them about it, he says "we don't know" or "we placed a tracer". It's been three weeks now, and I ordered 3-day shipping. Any thoughts?

I've bought a lot of stuff from Tim. I found him honest, forthright, accessable and easy to deal with. If Tim says he doesn't know, I'd say he's telling the truth. He's always shot straight with me and always did what he said he'd do. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. If you can't cool your jets, just settle up if it's taking too long for you. You always have recourse with your credit card or insurance. Good luck.

May be a first class operation and therefore deserves the benefit of doubt, but......

Three weeks later no parts when three day shipping requested. I think they should have made good or cancelled the deal some time ago. I'm not saying I wouldn't deal with them, but I would think twice.

He has always been responsive, helpful and truthful - and I'm ordering from Singapore !!

Could be a FUp with the shipping company not Branford.

I've ordered from Tim several times and have never had a problem. He rebuilt a Campy Chorus ergo lever for me and has sold me several cassettes over the years.

Hope your problem is resolved soon.

I've bought loads of stuff from Tim - mostly clothes and Campy stuff. I've found him helpful (REALLY helpful), friendly and honest.
If you have a problem, it may be a shipment that was lost by the carrier.
