And I don't mean guys like Lance Armstrong ot Jan Ulrich; I mean "ok" pros, like domestiques ad riders that are good enough to ride and finish the TdF but get 30+ place. I'm sure they don't get enough money in their career to keep them going when they retire in their mid 30's, so what do they do? I mean, it's not like they have a college education or anything...

some of them become OLN commentators, coaches, and open bike shops. others just fade into the unknown and are never heard of again. I've also seen some quit the sport entirly.

Lots of them go to work for their sponsors, assuming they had them.

still eat 8000 calories a day, but just do a few gentle miles for fun
