|I think I did my first century today, but neither I nor my riding partner had a computer.
Here's the route:
Out fourth to Lee Hill
Old Stage to Left Hand
to Ward (Gotta stop at that weird general store.)
to the Peak to Peak
through Lyons (obligitory stop at the ice cream parlour for a milk shake.)
36 to Hygiene road through Hygiene
left on Saint Vrain which runs into airport which we took to 3rd ave in Longmont
3rd ave (aka 119) to County Line Road (aka 1 RD)
right on Isabelle
and back in on on the bike path
What do you think?
By the way, the ride was beautiful and I had a great time!

|My vote is no (hey, I was on Left Hand Canyon today, too! Thank god for the coffee at that weird general store; my cyclocomputer showed 38 degrees there. We were there around 10:30-11 am).
Your base loop of Boulder/Lee Hill/Old Stage/Ward/Raymond/Lyons would be almost exactly 60 miles if you had just high-tailed it back to Boulder via Hwy 36. I think the extra mileage into the plains would run only an additional 25-30.
I'd be curious to know if others disagree.

|I 'd estimate your ride was around 70-80 miles. From CU to Lyons, up to 72, through Ward back to CU is 72 miles and your route was generally the same. It might as well be your first century given the time you spent in the mountains. If you were cruisin through the plains you probaly would have done at least a century in the same amount of time.|
