Replacing brake blocks?paulj

I'm replacing the brake blocks on my 2000 campy chorus brakes. The long curved brake blocks are hard to get into the holders. Any suggestions?

Well, this is just to get you started. Of course, leave the holders mounted in the calipers, then lube 'em a little with--soapy water? I've had good luck with old shorter blocks, by carefully using a pair of pliers, adjusted for a wide grip. One jaw pushes the block out, while the other jaw holds the opposite end of the holder. Y'know, squeeze the block out of the holder. Those blocks come out only one way, for obvious reasons.

.02 for what it's worth. Good luck!
