Can we change the wording from "Grio spoilers" to "Giro threads"?

Some folk just don't seem to be able to make the leap of understanding for themselves....

Thanks,

M.

Come ON muncher, really. Do you ask people not to tell you about the latest in Israel or with Bush and his War of Retriubution? Why do you feel that it is unacceptable to discuss news from a friggin' RACE for gawdsakes?

Seriously, stop whining and asking teacher for permission to dictate to the other kids in the sandbox.

Thanks for your inputmuncher

That should really make the board a better and more tollerant place for everyone. I'm sorry that it's too much to ask you to have a little thought for people who have slightly different priorities from your own. Sorry for you mainly, but sorry all the same.

And just in case you really can't grasp this tricky concept of haveing a though for others - no one is saying don't discuss it - just do it on the dedicated board that Gregg had kindly set up for that specific purpose - discuss it there till you are blue in the face - but whoy ruin someone else's fun?

Like I said below - I don't give a stuff about the Giro, but I respect those who do - why can't you?

...don't even think to try and pull the ol' "I CARE...therefore I elevate myself to a higher level of existence because of an assumed level of caring, and by taking that stance I must NOT care". It falls on deaf ears, and is spurious at best. At worst it is sophomoric.

What you are advocating is the cessation of exchange of information. That is silly and absoluetly falls into the catering to the Lowest Common Denominator.

I am sure you care. I am sure you care about a lot of things. This fact does NOT mean thhere is a deafult position of me NOT caring. Learn the difference. I would suggest a 101 level Philosophy class.

You are a twat. Have a nice life.

I would, but I already have a masters in philosophy.

Why don't you learn some manners, and some respect for others - don't try to pull everyone down to your own sad level.

...did your Master's Level Philosophy Classes teach you the word "twat" or did you pick that up on a nice Interstate Washroom Wall?

Obviously you didn't pay attention during your classes, as you would have been able to see that I am advocating nothing but respect for others. Respect to allow others to discuss and have intercourse in regards to issues topical to this forum. I am also not the one who wishes to REDUCE others rights of discussion vis a vis what can and cannot be discussed. If anyone wants someone reduced to a "sad level" it would be those who wish to restrict what can and cannot be discussed.

I don't think I really need to call you anything actually....muncher

Your posts speak for themselves.

You are truly a special kind of sad case - I would stick to the internet lurking if I were you - I don't think you had better get into meeting people for real - you have to learn too much respect too quickly.

Oh yes and, twats (like you) are like elephants - you don't need to have been to classes to know one when you come across one - they are just hugely obvious. Sorry if that is a little hard for you to grasp, but that's what happens with twats.
well then, why DID you?EJC

I'm perplexed...first you try and tell me that you feel a need to "edjeekate" me, then you say you are a respectful chap who ALSO calls people names (hence my new fab nickname of "twat") andf THEN you have the stones to say you don't have to call me anything AFTER calling me a "twat" for the second time!

You have me vexed. But then again, I have an IQ in the high 70's (and I ain't braggin' er nuthin) and am very slow on the uptake.

If you are so dang smart with yer fancy book-learnin', why do you bother taking the time with a lowbrow mouthbreather like me?

Oh well, I guess corespondence Master's Degrees in Philosophy don't necessarily (term used INTENTIONALLY) equate to applied wisdom or social graces.

Cheers,

EJC

I'm curious as to why one would read threads with the word "Giro" in them if you wished not to be informed about results and read any possible spoilers. I understand if some inconsiderate fool posts spoilers in the subject, but why read a thread entitled "GIRO SPOILERS AHEAD!?!" Aren't you just asking to be disappointed?

Personally, I don't care about the Giro. Hell, as far as I'm concerned, it's a Greek food.

Please folks, can't we all just get along?
