Have a sweet riding c-40 geo/record 10 that developed a clicking noise when standing.Seemed to be from the bottom bracket area.BB was cleaned and lubed and 99% went away. Now i hear/feel a subtler noise with most pedal strokes.1 Year old,4k mi,chain, pedals seem ok -any thoughts. What is warranty period on campy.Thankfully its not the frame-hopefully.

NOT a warrenty issue!!!

Clicking sounds can be very difficult to isolate.

In fhe following order:
clean and tighten the front and rear skewers
tighten up the crank arms and pedals
tighten up the chainring bolts
Check for a bad PL
clean and tighten seatpost and saddle
clean and tighten hbar stem clamp

Make sure the BB was properly torquedKerry

IME most BB noise problems come from insufficient torque, with lack of proper grease, anti seize, or teflon tape during install. I've had great luck with grease and proper torque. You'll not likely get enough torque "by hand" as the amount of force required to hit 70 n-m means leaning pretty hard on a big lever arm.
