|I'm looking at purchasing a Weyless aero carbon seat post. Has anyone used these? Even the Giant aero seatpost comments would be appreciated. Because of the carbon, are these real easy to scratch? Do they break easy? Thanks for any insight!|

|and yeah they're easier to scratch then metal. Windtunnel tests had shown there's no advantage. Still, I like my giant post for looks (also microadjustment works better then others). The draw back "aero" part leaves no space to put blinky for night riding.
Though I had mine for 4 years and it hold up pretty well. Still can't comment on durability I am only 140lbs. If you install one make sure there's no sharp edge on seat tube it must be rounded. Sharp edge can cut post (even metal one) and cause failure good luck.

|cydswipe, I have a USE AERO CARBON Post that I need to get ride of. It has never been used, was sent with my new frame (Look KG381i) and it doesn't fit. it is 27.2mm and my frame takes 25 mm. Its a 200 dollar post I will sell for $125.00, just enough to buy the post I need. It's a small by the way. let me know if your interested.|| |
