We had a VERY dry spring so I had the opportunity to pile the miles on. Should end up with a little over 10K for the year.

I'm down to 175 miles/ week right now in the futile hope of getting some speed going. I'm tired of getting shelled off the back in races. ;(

As a sprinter 6500 km as of March 30thPODIUMBOUNDdotCA

As a track sprinter I did 6500 km as of March 30th. Approx half outdoors then half on rollers since October 1st. But then everything with my crash happened. If you haven't seen my website yet its under The Crash @ http://www.podiumbound.ca. For now with the brain injury I suffered I am only allowed on rollers :(

Cheers,
Nick

Just now approaching 1000.

Bad weather, injury, sickness, breakdowns. This year has been lousy so far for cycling. But the best is yet to come!

After waiting 11 weeks for the Master X-Light, I came down with a whopper of a flu and was flat on my bike for 5 days. Now the rain...isn't that always the way it works?

I would have thought I'd see you showing up here in Fresno on that new ride.

I like the Freudian slip in your first sentence... :-)

I deleted my log and only ride for fun, when and where I want to now. It started with a bad attitude, but it's now very liberating.

Any guess, tho', as to what percentage is Milano, what percentage retro Bianchi, and what percentage is Colnago racer?

In a way, the cutting back and enjoying the riding was forced on me. It's not like I had an epiphany or anything, other than to accept reality.

Colnago 90%; EV2 5%; Pista 2%; Milano <1%; Cervelo <1%; Old Bianchi <1%; tandem <1%

not quite sure as I didn't keep track for a while in the spring. My guesstimate is based on when I sort of stopped in the fall.

I envy you all. I don't seem to have the time, between work, the wife, my six month old son and the thirteen year old son. I have been commuting to work at least once a week and plan on doing that more once the weather cooperates

... let's see, multiply by 1.3 to get equivalent roadbike miles and I'm still kinda pathetic. I'm way behind my riding goals, but starting to catch up a little.

2500 - which is pretty lame because we've just come out of summer, while N American riders start the year with appalling weather. Feeling good tho'.
Let me see, I believe the correct formula is e=mc2, right?AllisonHayes
May 22, 2002 3:20 PM
e=every mile this year
m=miles per ride
c=(number of times I have crashed into my garage with the bike on top+number of flats+number of cold days+number of days where wind was over 20mph)

So if c=208.4 and m=59 then e=2,562,403.04 miles. Ha, I beat you MB1!!!

hmm, must be wrong formula. Okay, I see, I don't need Einstein for this one. All I need to do is read my computer: 1228.8 Okay, so I don't even come close. But how many of you have driven your car into your garage with the bike on top this year? huh?
Somewhere between 2000-2300, but who's counting? :-)mwood

30.

Yes. 30.

(Just got the bike.) Weather here in nj has been rainy for some time and too cold to ride (for me that is). I plan on 45 mins every other day and 1-2 hrs on weekends.
