I ride alot, both MTB and road, each about twice a week, so 4 days of riding. Road miles are mainly commuter miles - 40 miles round trip, MTB recreational, about 15-20 miles per ride on lots of singletrack.
I train by pretty much hacking around, just doing what feels right and good for that day. If I'm tired I go slower, but sometimes I don't push myself as much as I should either. I'd like to add some sort of method to my madness, so which item will have a bigger impact on becoming a more fit cyclist...
