And now for the true geek-centric question of the day...

Now that you've got that retro-rocket, we gonna see you posting over in the Racing forum anytime soon?

i'm going to have to travel for races. there are only two or three *per year* around here, and the others are all 3+ hours away. ugh!

this one won't be used for racing, though. i'll use the "rain bike" for racing, maybe even put it on ebay and roll that into a crit-cut c'dale or something along those lines.

this thing is the definition of "eye candy". came in yesterday morning, i missed the UPS driver by 9 minutes at my house, and they won't let you pickup same day from the customer counter at my local ups. so, i was waiting when they opened at 7:30. i spent 10 minutes unpacking and putting together, then had to go to work. :-(

I agree. I actually don't race the Dream all that much for the same reasons. Just don't want to crash it and the Morgul is a tighter crit bike anyhow.

If they fit you correctly, IMO the best cheap crit frame you can possibly buy is a Giant TCR. Everyone raves about 'em. When I went on the VeloSwap shopping trip that resulted in the Morgul, a TCR was actually what I had on my mind. But the TT even on the small TCR (which are very hard to find) is still too long for me :-(

No dedication. I'm sorry but I'll have to take that bike away from you. ;-0

Have fun!

This is a 98 Mono Titan. Essentially an ovalmaster before there was an ovalmaster. Bought it used with 63 miles on it. I think I like the paint job better the options on the new frames.

New pedals are ordered but I'm using my mountian bike shoes until they come.
