Well, I've done training rides of the last 65 miles, and the first 40 (out&back to make 80) in the last month. I've never done the event. This will be the first year. The key is an early start, before the wind kicks up.

I live about 20 miles north of SF. I was out for my last ride before the century this AM. Pretty ugly SW headwinds.

Weather reports so far call for a relatively calm day Sunday, but that could easily change between now and then.
Let's hope for the best.
