|Just thought I'd pass this along, maybe it will help some one probably every one knows. Any way I bought a used bike last year and it had an after market carbon fork on it. The bike seemed to be very twitchy at high speed down hill riding. I chalked it up to that was the characteristics of the bike.
The bike happened to be a Bianchi, over the winter I had oportunity to pick up a Bianchi fork cheap so I got it. Well after a repaint over the winter I put the bike back together with the new fork. The diference is like night and day. The bike is rock solid. I figure the off set of that other fork was not the stock off set. Possibly the guy before me knew what he was doing and set it up for a faster steering bike, for Crits maybe.
