Opinions/recommendations wanted on what frame people on this forum would recommend for criteriums. I would expect such a frame would be stiff, particularly in the bottombracket and rear triangle, quick handling, and have a high bottombacket. Material choice is open, as is nation of origin. Additionally, I would also think weight would also be down on the list of concerns as climbing isn't a factor in such races.

For purposes of this discussion, let's keep the price below $1000 as above that point one can have a custom frame made.

Cannondales are very stiff, light and should be well suited to crits.
Never rode one but TCR fits your requirementsMannyD

Fairly stiff, light, and not overly rough like the Dales.

As long as you aren't a Mario clone the TCR should work just fine.

Oh, did I mention it's very inexpensive. Spend the saved bucks on some light wheels and race tires.
