|Does anyone have any information on why it's so hard to get a Cadd 7 C-Dale. What's the hold up ? There are some here and there, but for the most part it seems these are going to the pro teams first and people who are connnected ? It seems to me with all the press they are doing and the fact it's the middle of May you would think these Cadd 7 would be out by now ? I have had one on order since about Jan, what is the real story.|

|Caad not Cadd. Computer aided aluminum design or cannondale aquired aluminum devine or something like that.|

From the C'dale Website:
Cannondale Advanced Aluminum Design (CAAD) is the pinnacle of aluminum frame technology. We define it as a kind of art, a process during which we reinforce crucial frame areas for strength or lateral stiffness, yet shave material away where possible, optimizing frame weight. Every tube on a Cannondale frame has a specific purpose, and the tubing's function dictates their unique shapes. Our welders then craft every Cannondale frame by hand in Bedford, Pennsylvania, smooth-welding the 6061-T6 aluminum for precision, and then heat-treating it in-house to assure proper strength and temper.

|"Every tube on a Cannondale frame has a specific purpose..."
Do any bikes have tubes without a specific purpose, just sort of thrown in there for looks? That's sort of silly.

|But otherwise, I agree with you. Take the BS out of ads and we're "staring at empty pages" as Stevie Winwood said.|

|Just saying it was Caad not Cadd I think I ended the other info with "something like that." Meaning...something like what I juist said , but not exactly what I just said. Capice?|

|I have a 56cm in my shop right now. I just built it on Friday and it is a very nice bike. It was expected in January but it has been taking long.|| |
