|I will be in Greensboro most of next week for a wedding and was wondering if there were still evening organized rides in the area.
Any info on contacts, times, locations, types of rides would be appreciated.
p.s. I'll have my bike as we are driving down.

|Try checking with Cycles d'Oro in Greensboro. www.cyclesdeoro.com. They are one of the better shops in the area and should be able to point you in the right direction. Also there is a club in Winston-Salem (20 minutes to the west) called the Piedmont Flyers. The club is affiliated with another local shop, Paceline Bicycles. Great folks who should also be able to help you out.

|Cycles d'Oro in Greensboro. That was exactly the shop I was looking for. I lived in High Point back in the late 80's & couldn't remember the shop name. I did rides with them frequently & even bought a bike from them.
Do you do any of these rides?

|Unfortunately, travel takes me away from the area for much of each week. Also, I live about 40 mi. NW of W/S at the base of the Blue Ridge Mtns. (Mount Airy), so too much great mountain riding there to really justify driving to W/S or G'boro for a relatively flat group ride.
Hope you enjoy your visit.

|I've done the Thrusday ride from American Express (interstate 40 and 68 easy to find) Usually turns into a B++ ride (at least for me trying to hang on), Haven't been this season yet but it was usually about 40 to 50 riders, very friendly however watch out for thunder storms this time of year|
