The prices do seem tempting, however,

I have a hunch that this may be "all4bikes" who was suspended then reinstated, later they changed their name to some paintball id (now suspended) and opened another, new account called bikeaddicted. bikeaddicted has been suspended as well.

A few things to consider:

1. They want your money within 3 days of the end of the auction. Perhaps the reason for this is that they do need to purchase the item being auctioned from their supplier!

2. They do not accept PayPal or Credit Cards. They may have lost their PayPal priviledges for misconduct.

3. They do not give a specific location in their eBay auction listings. What are they trying to hide?

4. The source for the photos in their auction listings is a website in France.

5. Everyday low Campagnolo prices are available from CritUSA - see www.google.com bicycle groups. He advertise there. Reputable and cheap.

I noticed the same thing. They only take MO's. I'd stay away for a month or 2 & see what develops.

I got the winning bid on a Polar 710 and tried to pay with Bidpay, and they rejected it, saying the seller had a low seller rating. I have asked Bidpay for further explanation and have also emailed this guy, otherwise known as Ivan Ivanov of Fullerton, CA. So far, no response from either. I am definitely holding on to my money til I hear back from someone.

Come on...

How about John Johnson
or Ted Tedley
or Ralph Ralphe
or Mike Michaels
or Rob Roberts
or Chris Chriss

Sheesh.

Scam artists are getting sloppy these days.

I was a winning bidder on a pair of PI shorts. Charge $9.95 for shipping? Come on! BidPay also rejected paying on account of lack of history with seller. I sent the BidPay response to seller who said he is trying to set up with BidPay. I am undecided whether to continue and get a Money Order - it's a little risky.

I was the winning bidder on some Record pedals, and just received UPS tracking information from the seller. I'll let you all know how it turns out. Woe is me if I'm out $140!

I mailed them last night and asked if their de-listing was going to affect my order. There answer (as I might have expected) was "no, it's all a misunderstanding with Ebay." We'll see, but your news is good news to me.
