1994 Giro d'Italia.

Pantani & Indurain on the podium.
1994 Paris Roubaix or 92-93-94 MSRMcAndrus

1994 Paris Roubaix, which I don't have, because it's a Tchmil win and I like him. I've also heard it was one of the classic messy races.

92-93-94 Milan San Remo because I do have it and I love it. Kelly's descent of the Poggio in pursuit of Argentin(?) is a study in bike racing.
Skip the 94 Robaix.Sintesi at home

I got it. It's very messy and a few wrecks but ultimately kind of boring. Tchmil (a favorite of mine as well) gets away in the last quarter of the race and stays away. In other words, long break away = NO DRAMA. The commentary by Mr. Ligett is canned; it's not the actual live race coverage and comes across pretty limp. It's okay but I was a little disappointed.

I picked the '96 Paris-Roubaix. Why? I dunno, wanted a Roubaix flick and it was the most current.

Also when I ordered my tape I received it in 4 days, plus the first addition of Cycle Sport Magazine. It's a great mag, covers mostly the european road racing scene but they have reviews on bikes and products.

Ever get that Merckx Corsa? They had a nice write up on one last month. Nice bike...it got me thinking about the Record mix upgrade on my Master X-Light from looking at the pics..

actually, it's the strada, and it's been fitted with chorus, stuffed in a box, and put in the charge of a man with brown shorts and a large van. should be here in 5-7 business days. harumph!

already getting the mag (got the first issue last week), but their renew for another year and get another video for $10 less than this year is a great deal, and expires today...for my first video, i chose the '95 tdf.

I completely understand about the man with brown shorts and large van. Just been through that with my Nago. Rest assured that when it finally arrives the wait will make it that much sweeter. You will love the Campy Chorus, just remember small, smaller; large, larger.

Sounds like a good deal on Cycle Sport, I can't remember when mine expires, I'll order another tape also.

Silly me...DINOSAUR

I just checked my Outlook Express mail and found a message from May 3rd about renewing my subscription. I choose the '96 Giro D'italia. Why? Again I dunno, the Giro is my favorite race and that is the most recent. Good thing I saw your post as that offer expires May 12th. Cool, now I have another tape to watch...

I picked the same 95 TDF a couple months ago, and paid the $5-6 shipping and handling for the video, but had to pick it up at th PO because it only had 52 cents postage. My package only had to travel across the Mpls/St Paul metro area as well. It was still worth it though. Great mag and great tape.
