Santini CX shorts--quality and fit questionsgtx

I'm 5' 11" and 145 pounds and have trouble finding shorts that fit right--I generally need Mediums but they are often too short. Giordana worked well until recently--the new ones are shorter. Same goes for Pearl and Voler. So I was about to try the Santini CX shorts from bikejerseys.com and wondered if anyone had any comments on quality or fit. Any other shorts you'd recommend for skinny guys with long legs? (don't like bibs) Thanks.
I have a pair from bikejerseys.Qubeley

The fitting is pretty much the same as Giordana. But the material they use for padding is pretty rough. It's supposed to be antibiotic pad, however, they are not as smooth/comfy as my other shorts, the seam irritates me sometimes.

I've got a pair of the Santini CX bibs that I got from bikejerseys.com. Great price, but I prefer the Volers, which are more comfortable and better quality.
