|where the show will appear: SAVE YOUR MONEY! This thing was a farce. $8 to get the privilege of rummaging through one vendor's decades old, odd sized jerseys at $35 a pop. And that was the highlight. The vendors looked like as bored as snot. The only buzz was around the Serrota table where people were oggling the Ottrott. Weak. Very week.|

|I only paid $5 for the preview show on Thurs., but as you report it was a tired and somewhat lame affair. Long cycles' closeout stuff was way better last year but at least the 6 defeet socks for $ 18 returned. The really big names just didn't show up with large, interesting displays and their were a lot of local vendors who didn't really have all that much to offer. Definitely needed more exotic bikes and manufacturers. It's dissappointing NYC can't do better than this.
The beer was good, I bought some socks and joined the NYC cycling club. Oh, and the black CAAD 7 Cannondale was absolutely smoking. It is now high on the lust list.
