Question for Gregg. How to support RBRDave Hickey

Gregg, you mentioned last week that buying from companies that pay to have their products listed in the Hot Deals section is a way we can support RBR. Since I buy from Supergo and Perfomance Bike all the time, If I start my purchase from the Hot Deals section of RBR and buy something at Supergo, even though it not the "Hot Deal", does RBR get credit for the sale?

I'm a frequent visitor and sometime buyer off REI Outlet. Almost nothing I buy there is bike related, mostly camping, hiking, and canoeing stuff. Like you said it would be an easy trip to start the shopping from RBR. I enjoy this site more than any other internet experience and would hate to see it gone.

...sorry I didn't see this in time.

To answer your question, no, we won't get credit that way.

The only way we will get credit for the sale is if you go to the Hot Deals section of our site, and buy one of the items on that page, through the link.

This is one of the biggest problems we have is that people see the hot deal, click over to the retailers site, and then start shopping around. If people do this, we do NOT get any credit (in other words, we don't get paid.)
