Could anyone, please, share their experience w frame bags?tz

I am looking to increase my bike's luggage-carrying capacity [in adddition to a wedge], but not by much: I don't want to haul a rack and a trunk, so I've been thinking about a frame bag.
Who, besides Nashbar makes/sells them? How big is the model you've used? Does it interfere with pedaling/shifer cables in any way?
I would appreciate any input. Thanks.
Or you could use a BIG saddlebag...Andy M-S

I don't know if the link will show up properly (geocities can be a pain) but another alternative is a Carradice bag. You can get them from Rivendell or Wallingford (www.wallbike.com).

The photo shows my rain bike with a Carradice Carradura bag, mounted using a Carradice SQR quick-release. It's literally a matter of two or three seconds to get the bag on or off, and it carries a lot of stuff. No rack needed. I have another mount for the bag on my Bianchi--just click and go.

If for some reason the photo doesn't show, you can go to my bikes page:
