Take measurements off the bike you like, the 56 cm: saddle height, how much seatpost is showing?, reach from saddle to handlebars, how much drop?, and saddle setback from the crank spindle. Then get the compact frame that will make it possible to duplicate these dimensions.

Measure the top tube length on your current bike and compare that to the virtual top tube length that bianchi lists on their website (www.bianchiusa.com).

Most compact frames are virtue sized, so for example, a size 54 SPecialized Compact is the same as a 54 traditional frame except with lower standover height.

If not, make sure the virtual toptube length is unchanged.
