Tell your friends tell your family tell anyone you know :) Lance is definitely an amazing story and just being a cancer survivor... I survived a near fatal head first track crash with a helmet! At 60 km/h... So thats amazing. So ya my # is on there in athletes and if people call I will call back long distance. There is a visa/mastercard and of course in Canada there are sports organizations but they do only what they can. And Sept 11th screwed over the states but the economy is on the mend. And just as a challenge to Lance to never quit till he wins the tour stuff like that at least on the track... I can do! And yes people believe he's on drugs... but has he done amazing things for the sport so you don't question such an amazing role model! My goal is drug free from this day! So if you have an amazing story... tell me :)
What are you........huh, what.........nevermind.JS

Nothing... did I survive something amazing? Perhaps... but is my website a tool for at least other people to see me yes it is. Then sutff like making money off it is secondary. That website is a HUGE investment by But they do a lot of not-for-profit stuff so like amateur athletics is much different!

but your paragraphs are like from what it seems you are asking for money so you can race on a bike and get some glory...that reminds me of the lady on the corner last night begging for a soda..."can i have some money to get a soda please sir?"..these are good times we are in....i have another amazing story- there was a squirel in my house last week and after the two hours it took to get him a couple of steps out the front door he ran back in..i had to give him a couple hours to calm down before we went at it again, he was scared to death and kept making sad little "help" noises...back to you again, why should anyone give you any money? im not meaning to be mean, its kind of a philosophical question..if you come up with a good answer ill give you all the money ive got

Anyway some people may get lost! Sorry! So if you get confused move on!

1) I am replying to every persons message... thats how important is to me. And to a degree any sponsorship is individual!
2) Why should people give me money? Yes to a degree I don't need it like the homeless lady but to do something as inspiring as Lance you need a lot of people behind you whether helping guide you through philisophical questions, faith in God or in the human body, or obviously cold hard cash. Just like a soda can help quench thirst provide energy and nurish... just going to a homeless shelter and getting help can do so much more.
3) If a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound? Obviously science says yes... but just like coming outta an amazing accident somethings I thought were unreal... some things like that, people NEED to perceive for it to be real. But others can say sound waves are made no matter what.

And don't worry if you give me a call we'll be able to bounce philisophical questions back and forth for hours on end. Just like the squirrel. I know when to back off like you did... but you also knew to get him out the door you had to go back harder... but to a degree I was very helpless flying through the air. Just like my body... it can only do as much as it wants to.

If someone believes in something so much that they don't say a word... like living are they invincible or are there other deeper powers at work? My answer is yes there are other powers and EVERY person dies. Jesus... God's son on earth died. But of course not everyone believed and God can guide people along a path but they have to follow it how they want.

I'm done now. Thank you for listening.
i think you need helpishmael

im going to take you on as a special case...for starters i think you should read over your posts before you push send...start with the simpilest sentences...ok besides that, i knew you had to believe jesus was gods son, your so intense you had to be a zelot of some sort, your on some mission..except in your case its a mission for fame and glory on a bicycle...i guess there is something esteemable about struggling towards a goal even if its as self absorbed as winning bike races, but youve taken it too a new level...dont lose sight of the fact that your still some guy who likes to ride around on a bike, its not a religious crusade..
Apr 27, 2002 7:14 PM
Simple sentences. I believe every word you said. And yes, religion is what you make it out to be. Can your body climb above what it could do? Yes... thats why people train. But also training is also JUST riding a bike. But also Lance has done amazing things for the sport... and ultimately... through the crash that COULD have killed me (any doctor can tell you if he watches the crash) I may sound crazy at times. But I have every right to... I'm pretty much unhurt! At least except for the head. Even if one person wears a helmet all the time it may save someones brain a little shock.
For dreams... for helping someone who may need to see a psychiatrist!

What happened in Trinidad? Basically my teammate went down in front of me in front of me. All at 57 km/h. I had no time to jump him... especially being on the track in a fixed gear. So I collided with him and went flying... 10 meters in the air head first into the ground. At the time I was 190 lbs or just under 90 kg. This is only my body not the bike! So rough approximations gave me 28000 lbs of force on my head at impact. Head did get a huge blow helmet or not. After that I was out cold 10-15+ mins in a coma but awoke. Followed by a week in the hospital and another week. During these 2 weeks after the accident I slept up to 22 hours a day. I finally clued ito what happened 2 weeks ago, tomorrow. It's unreal waking up and not remembering ANYTHING due to amnesia! These are amazing signs that it could have been a lot worse. And they believe in religion down there so they even have a priest at the track so I'm sure he got everyone to take a moment to prayer. If you wish to discuss this further we can talk on here or at Some things are better discussed in private! There is also a video which may be on the website as soon as tomorrow or I can send it through email.
