Of course the other riders will be wondering why you're sobbing to which you'll have to mutter something about "the terrible beauty," or a broken phrase, "...transcending elegiacal exhalations in space," or or some such thing. With moist eyes, a sorrowful, pitying heart and a thousand yard stare, you'll be in the perfect frame of mind for close quarter racing.
finish with some mahler or shostakovich - then pounce NmSpirito

The "Tweekend" album kicks. Ten Miles Back is my current groove track.

Other favorites include anything by Prodigy, Fatboy Slim or The Chemical Bros. If I'm feeling retro I dig out the Ministry cassettes and crank some "Cowboy" action thru the parking lot. Yee-haw.
I prefer bad music from the '70s and '80sGregory Taylor

Stuff like:

Judas Priest "Living After Midnight" (The Donnas do a killer version of this on their most recent album "Over 21")

Aerosmith "Train Kept A Rollin'", "Sweet Emotion", "Back in the Saddle"

Ted Nugent "Great White Buffalo"

Anything by Cheap Trick -- esp. "Surrender", "Wrong All Along"
"War" by Edwin Star.... War, huh, what is it good forDave Hickey

The BIG record makes me want to shoot people and the Murphys make me want to break whisky bottles over peoples heads. Anyway I look at it, I get pumped up and ready for action!

Band: Tool
Album: Lateralus
Song: The Grudge

"Saturn ascends, choose one or ten. Hang on or be humbled again."

If that song doesn't make you want to tear wide grooves into the pavement, nothing will.

A. (Also a nod to Jane's Addiction for "Three Days". The climax ending is enough to give you goosebumps and send tickles of adrenaline up your spine.)

Awesome grooves that are good to have stuck in your head when you are hammering...

www.bornnaked.net (band name, not porn)

Recommend: What the Hell, John Henry, FBI for straight-forward pump you up. Me I Say, and Prayer for spine-tingling build up.

Hard rock that blows away everything on the radio these days (except Tool).

Download anything off the Motivator album (it's all there for free). King Chrimson meets Tool.

Metallica - battery (or pretty much the master of puppets album)
slayer - take yer pick, all fast all good.
napalm death - if that dont get ya in the mood for some speed, well!!!
the gladiator soundtrack with some of the battle scene tunes
would be pretty cool as well.
