Either June 15 & 16 or June 22 & 23. Who would like to believe they will do one or both of the weekend rides? Who would like to do a city and monument tour on Sunday? Any interest in a BBQ Saturday evening? Got any other ideas?

Now is the time to let me know if you are at all interested so we can start planning. Should i bother trying to get tickets for the Washington Monument?

Reply here so we can have a discussion and e-mail me at franthis@iwon.com

I do have an intereset in going. I wouldn't mind the trip from Jersey but my wife is expecting our second child in the end of June. June 22 to be exact.

Kuddoes to you for volunteering to set up the gathering. I hope I can join in another time.

I'm in for the 15th & 16th, The Bay to Bay century is the 23rd & I was going to do that but I would bag that for a couple of days of riding in DC.

BBQ would be great, what can we bring (Are non-riding spouses welcome? we'd probably make a weekend out of it.

Like Bill, I'm signed up for the AIDS Ride June 13-16. Late May or early June, or late June, would be fine. I live in Arlington, so the travel arrangements shouldn't be too difficult.

If you need names, mine is Dan.

Either weekend is good for me. I am more inclined for the Sunday tour. I've been in DC for 7 years, yet feel I've missed a lot of the smaller "momuments". Hey, maybe we should go to Ben's Chili Bowl for lunch?!?!?! There's a DC institution everyone should experience.
Ride after chili??? I don't think so! nmMB1

I would definitely like to make it, but I just can't do it those 2 weekends. Leaving on a weeklong bike tour with my brother on June 22, and I'll need the weekend before to prepare. Sounds great, though. It's always impossible to find a date that will work for everyone when trying to plan things.

...and the Bethesda Grand Prix Crit is on the 16th of June (Sunday).

Well, looks like June 15 for me!

By the way, I said hello to Miss M this morning...I was putzing along the mall on my way to work.

... I don't know my schedule yet, but I sure could use a good long ride. I haven't broken 35 miles in a day for months, and need a reason to.
