"I HATE TO BREAK IT TO YOU ALL BUT MY" posts almost invariably get the most views. Why????"
Lazywriter "Just watched 48 Hours news program" 4/18/02 2:44pm

WHY INDEED It's because he sits there and reloads the thread. So insecure that he has to have everyone think more of him than he is capable of in a normal honest way.
I figured that out long agokoolaid

He has neither wit or honesty.
How stupid does he think we are?xxll

The view numbers on his thread below went from 152 to 210 in 15 minutes from 10:38 to 10:48 PM PST. He must have a DSL line! What a joke he is. What a fool to be doing it when we are watching the view numbers closely. It's funny those 58 people looked at nothing but his thread in that 15 minutes. It must be further proof that we ALL LOVE HIM !!!!!!!
Apr 24, 2002 10:02 PM
I counted 96 added views from 10:30 to 11:00. And just 11 added views for the other top 15 threads on this page. Must be that we all love him! LOL
Be nice to him, he thinks he is earning double frequent flyerSlipstream

miles for each view. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he has easy access to the drug cabinet where he works.

I think Gregg should give him a merit badge for each 20,000 views at the very least. ;>)
Where is the View counter???ntOwenMeany

Those view counts don't seem unreasonable to me. This thread with only seven responses already had 218 views.

LOL Lazywriter must have stayed up a bit last night. Gregg should be happy that over a 1000 people were here in the wee hours of the morning. And 900 of them only bothered to read Lazywriters thread.

Leave the bastard alone and don't view his/her threads, if you hate him/her that much.
You must be bored to death, if you have time and desire to count view numbers.
It seems to me that this board just needs someone to bash...

When a thread gets 1000 views while the vast majority of people who visit this board are sleeping it smells funny not paranoid. Sorry to disturb your delusions. And I don't ever read Lazywriters posts. Been there done that and found nothing worthwhile in his words.

Just got home from work and saw this thread for the first time just now. Not online at work so the 600 views already have nothing to do with me and it is only now when most people get home. I SWEAR THAT I GET STOMACH CANCER AND DIE A HORRIBLE PAINFUL DEATH THAT I DO NOT RELOAD TO INCREASE THE VIEWS.
Personally, I don't give a rat's A$$ if you believe me or not, but one thing I am is honest and say what I feel and feel what I say. I may be an abrasive prick, but I am known for my honesty and genuineness and it is guys like me who make the best friends because we will always be honest with others.
My comment is mainly to Nessism here because he seems like a good guy. Ness, I don't take LS bashing personally. What annoys me is the persistence of postors who invariably make comments about the "type" of people who ride them and the lack of perceived quality blah blah blah. Isn't their reactions to just seeing the name LS just as ridiculous as my counter-reactions???????
As far as spreading falsehoods, I disagree with you about the stiffness variations between my bikes. I have ridden my Classic for almost 6 years for countless hours and can tell immediately that the Vortex is SUBSTANTIALLY STIFFER. Case closed, it is so obvious as soon as you get on it.
As far as the evolution of LS frames. Trickle down technology is common amongst bike lines and YES, the ULTIMATE of old LOOKS MORE LIKE THE current Classic than it does the new Ultimate. What are you dense?????? What the hell is wrong with you other than the fact you hate to be proven wrong. And Oh Yeah, the Merckx is just a rebadged Litespeed. Same ti, same welders, same fu(king process. Difference is geometry and tube manipulation doesn't make it a "different" bike. No two LS are the same and the Merckx is just another one with small variations. WHY CAN"T YOU SEE THIS.
I will leave you all with a politically incorrect joke.
What do all abused women have in common?

They don't fu(kin listen. LOL

When you come down with stomach cancer I'd advise you to go to the Sloan-Kettering's Cancer Center in New York. They have the most cutting edge treatments for it.
So friggin predictable because it isLazywriter

something I would have said. Kinda funny, but predictable. If one person reads the line of say 30-40 responses, that is 30-40 views per each reader. So only 100 people would need to read through to get 3000-4000 views. I never really thought of it until you mentioned it but that is how it works. That is not unrealistic.
I made that comment about my post getting a lot of views a while back, but I swear that I dont reload. It is a combination of my name and of course the dreaded Litespeed that people seem to anticipate all hell breaking loose. That is good to rattle up all yo stuffy bastards in here.
GST I will mail you my tumors after I have them removed you motherfu(ker. LOL

Lazywriter: stop flying off the handle! I hate to sound petulant, but you started all of this by responding so aggressively over slights to Litespeed (real or imagined). you're not doing yourself or anyone else a favor by exploding. and guys like you do not make the best friends - it is impossible to form friendships if you piss people off. sorry to be so harsh, but you do need to hear this. if you aren't willing to listen, then I suppose you're beyond hope.
Actually, you are incorrect. A study ofLazywriter

male friendships showed that guys who are honest, but not hateful make the best friends. My best friends and I(lifelong), can be brutally honest with one another and still have love for each other. We expect nothing but brutal honesty and if we blow smoke up each other's a$$es that is grounds for real conflict.
Women in particular cannot understand this phenomenon as they are inherently catty and vindictive and have more fragile egos in some regards. One comment could hold lifelong resentment. However, if my buddy is acting like a douchebag he gets reprimanded or even a beating like the good old days.
I obviously want to piss some people off and still get annoyed when there is a legitimate Litespeed thread and I answer, some moron will then chime in and start bashing. I don't mean a guy who had a bad experience with a LS frame, but the morons who say only "poseurs ride them and they are overpriced HUffy" blah blah blah. It is usually those Italian road bike purists who are pretentioius snobs. (I have an Italian road bike as well).
I am the counter balance to the ridiculous bashing that goes on. An obvioius exaggeration of concern on the issue to point out the stupidity of arguing this point over and over again. If I stopped posting today, the Litespeed name will continue to start trouble. Nobody can deny that. I think that is much more ridiculous than my reactions to such comments. I only instigated that thread last night but normally only retaliate to others.
I don't have to justify what I ride because for me, I got one of the best bikes on the road. Don't need it, but I got it. It annoys me when everyone feels it necessary to try and catch others in mitruths here. Kinda of like a territorial pissing to show that one is more knowledgeable than the other. Enough with this idiotic mental masturbation. You can all go scratch you a$$es. I can just feel the pretentiousness in the text I read. Roadies often project an image of arrogance. It is a topic that people here have posted quite frequently. Funny thing is, I am very down to earth and laid back. But pompous a$$holes get me going and need to be reminded that they are not that bright.
I may be rough around the edges, but I am not stupid and get tired of seeing how people jump down each other's throats about "HOW MUCH A BIKE WEIGHS or CAMPY OR SHIMANO.

> I am the counter balance to the ridiculous bashing that goes on

um ... no, you are not. I hate to be harsh, but you are, unfortunately, part of it. if you say you can feel the pretentiousness in the texts you read, then take a deep breath and read your own posts.
now, roadies, arrogant? I dunno. there are a lot of non-arrogant roadies on my university's cycling team ...
and as an aside, I would be interested in seeing that study. not that I doubt you; I'm a psych major, so I'm interested in these things.
