I just bought an Elite Volare Fluid Trainer. I assembled it and tried to attach my bike to it and it doesn't seem as if it will attach. The skewer seems like the problem. The part of the skewer by the cassette fits into the locking mechanism perfectly, but the other side of the skewer (the part that you lock your wheel with) doesn't seem to fit correctly. It doesn't have a buldge or anything to fit into the hole. My skewer is flat. I don't know if my description helps but if anyone can help me I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Erik

First, even if your skewer did fit on the trainer, don't use it. Go to your LBS and buy an inexpensive standard skewer.

No a skewer didn't come with the trainer. So you recommend getting a cheap skewer to use with the trainer. Makes sense. Thanks. I'll see what I can do.
