Club ride on Saturday, rode my "feel of steel" ibis 75 miles with about 6,500' elevation gain. Sunday my sweetie and I led a more leisurely 50 mi. club ride on the Calfee tandem (carbon), then I went back out on the Fisher Sugar (aluminum FS) for a nice ride through the local woods.
I'm training for a CA Triple Crown this year. The first double (Davis) is coming up next month and I'm feeling good!

Din there bun that.
I was thinking about doing Davis on the MTB or the tandem by myself for the smooth ride and cool factor, but 200 miles is enough fun by itself doncha think?

A guy did the Terrible Two on a FG bike last year. He had a 16/19 flip-flop rear wheel for the hills. Oh boy, that would really be a relief wouldn't it! DOH!

He finished.
